Disney+

Streaming for Disney, Pixar, Marvel and more

Disney+ is an entertainment streaming app for viewers who want movies and series from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic in one place. It suits families, franchise fans and anyone looking for a broad mix of animated features, adventure stories, documentaries and original programming. The app is developed by Disney and is available on Android under the package name com.disney.disneyplus.

A library organised around familiar worlds

Instead of treating every title as part of one long list, Disney+ groups browsing around its major brands. This makes it straightforward to move from Pixar animation to Marvel series, Star Wars films or National Geographic documentaries. Depending on the subscription and location, the service may also present Hulu and ESPN selections within the same app, giving some viewers more content to explore without changing platforms.

• Browse by Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic collections.
• Find films, series and Disney+ original programmes in one catalogue.
• Watch selected titles in 4K, HDR or IMAX Enhanced formats on compatible devices and plans.
• Use profiles, PINs and child-focused settings to shape the viewing experience for different household members.

Built for shared screens and personal viewing

Large artwork and brand-led sections keep the main screen easy to scan, whether you already know what you want or are choosing something for the evening. Profiles help separate recommendations and viewing habits, while parental controls provide extra boundaries for younger viewers. Picture quality options are available for supported content, devices and subscriptions.

Widely used on Android

Disney+ holds a 4.3 rating from more than 4.9 million reviews and has recorded 500,000,000+ installs. Those figures place it among the most established entertainment apps on Android, with a catalogue aimed at both focused fandoms and everyday family viewing.
